"A Wee Dander Down the Walls" – 2023

Twenty-five years after the Good Friday Agreement, the peace process is steadily progressing.
In England for Unionists, and in Ireland for Republicans, tensions have eased, and a new generation is emerging
one that never had to experience the fear of the Troubles.

Within this complex socio-political context, I turned my attention to the walls.
How do these mural-covered façades are reflection of multiple identities?
Through these images, rich with meaning, I focused on the residents of the region's two largest cities
Derry/Londonderry and Belfast to immortalize their consciousness and capture the rich,
sometimes provocative, aesthetic of murals.
